Salary Raise Calculator

Model a merit or COLA bump as a percent of current base pay. Helpful before comp conversations or when comparing offers that describe increases as percentages.

Raise on salary

How this is calculated

New salary = current × (1 + raise% ÷ 100). Increase = new − current.

Example: $72,000 with 4.5% raise → $75,240 (+$3,240).

Use this tool for

  • Stacking a promotional % on top of an existing base.
  • Translating HR’s “3% pool” into dollars.
  • Checking multi-year comp if you chain raises mentally.

Bonus not included?

This applies only to the base you enter. Add bonuses separately or include them in the base field if that matches your definition.

Biweekly vs annual?

Work in annual numbers for apples-to-apples; multiply biweekly gross by pay periods if needed before entering.
